Basic Skills

Description: Welcome to the Basic Skills page. This page allows users to create, view and edit the basic skills test results assigned and completed by the participant. Participants are required to take a pre-test before the post-test is administered. Once the post-test is completed, users will be able to add the post-test information to the pre-test record. These tests results will be displayed on the Basic Skills page.

Add a New Basic Skills Test

Complete the following to Add a New Basic Skills Test:

Click the Add New Basic Skills Test link. This will open the Add Basic Skills Test form.
To complete the form Click Here.
Once completed the information will populate the Basic Skill Overview section.

View a Basic Skills Test

Complete the following to View a Basic Skills Test:

Select one of the basic skills test listed under the Category column. The selected test will open on the Update Basic Skills Test form.
To update this form, Click here. Otherwise, click the (Cancel) button to return to the Basic Skills page.

Definition of Basic Skills Deficient

Located below the Basic Skills Overview section is a link labeled Definition of Basic Skills Deficient. Click this link to view how the YouthBuild Program defines a participant as being Basic Skills Deficient.
