Cases Overview

Description: Welcome to the Cases Overview page. This page displays a list of all the cases for which you are responsible for. The cases are sorted in ascending order by the first column, Individual.

 

Functions: This page contains the following functions:

 

Filter Cases

Cases that are displayed on this tab contain case records that have already been created. To filter out what cases are being displayed complete the following:

  • Click the Filter drop-down list located directly below the Overview heading.

  • Select the specific user to filter out the cases displayed.

  • Once the user has been selected, click the image10.gif (Go) button. This will filter out all the cases and display ONLY those cases pertaining to the selected user.

Sort Cases

Users can use the column headings to sort the displayed cases. To sort the displayed cases complete the following:

  • Select one of the following column headings:  Individual, Grantor, Date of Enrollment, Case Assigned To, and  Program Status.

  • The first time a column is selected the cases will resort in ascending order. If the same column heading is selected for a second time, the cases will resort in descending order.

View Alerts

Users can click the Alerts link to view all alerts currently in the YouthBuild system. Directly below the Alerts link, YouthBuild identifies how many alerts you currently have.

Add New Case

Complete the following to Add a New Case to the YouthBuild system:

  • Click the Add New Case link located on the far right hand side of the page. This will open the New Case page and display the Case Information form.

  • To complete the form Click Here.

  • Once completed the case will be added to the YouthBuild system. Users can begin adding specific information to the participant case once the case has been created.

View an Existing Case

Complete the following to View an Existing Case:

  • Select a participant's name under the Individual column. This will open the Summary page for the participant selected.

  • From the Summary page users will be able to view all information pertaining to the participant selected.

Transfer a Case

Complete the following to Transfer a Case from one user to another:

  • Select the case(s) that will be transfer by placing a check in the check box(es) located in the first column on the left hand side of the page.

Note: Click the image253.gif (Check All) button to select all cases.

  • Using the Reassign checked cases to drop-down list, located at the bottom of the page, select the user whom the cases will be assigned to.

  • Once the applicable case(s) and the user whom the selected cases will be assigned have been selected, click the image254.gif (Submit) button.  This will display the Transferred Successfully Message.

  • Click the 'here' link to return to the Cases Overview page.
